Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public broad access to many court records, but Sullivan County routes different records through different offices. Civil Court of Common Pleas files, divorce filings, custody forms, marriage licenses, recording functions, probate filings, and Orphans' Court work all connect to the combined Prothonotary, Recorder of Deeds, Clerk of Courts, Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court office in Laporte. Criminal Common Pleas records use the Clerk of Courts function. Traffic, summary criminal, landlord-tenant, small civil, preliminary criminal, bail, and warrant work can involve Magisterial District Court 44-3-03.
